Are you seeking to expand your portfolio of global programs in a way that will increase student equity and access? National Student Exchange (NSE) provides accessible and affordable collegiate study away among member colleges and universities throughout the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S Virgin Islands. Founded in 1968, NSE is the leading resource and premier provider for collegiate study away and has provided more than 125,000 exchange opportunities.

Institutional Opportunity
The National Student Exchange consortium includes public and private institutions, AAU, Carnegie Research universities, COPLAC, and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) including HBCUs, HSI, and AANIPISI. We invite membership from baccalaureate-granting colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Institutions must be regionally accredited or provincially recognized and committed to providing the quality of education and service practiced by NSE members. Annual membership is US $1,000. NSE is administered by experienced higher education professionals and governed by a council elected from member campuses. The non-profit NSE consortium is funded by institutional membership and student application fees. NSE enhances institution priorities for globalization, diversity, and experiential learning initiatives.

Student Engagement
NSE students take advantage of diverse academic offerings and regional differences among member colleges and universities. Students not able to seek travel or education experiences outside of the U.S. find NSE options will match their goals. Special programs, honors, and study abroad are available. Students may exchange for a semester, academic year, or summer, dependent upon their academic program flexibility.
