Temperatures in Anchorage are not as extreme as in other parts of the state. For example, the average temperature in July is 65 degrees while the average temperature in January is 20 degrees.

NOTES ABOUT MEAL PLANS:
tudents living in a residence hall (North, East or West Hall, which do not have in-suite kitchens) are required to have one of the full-semester meal plans below. Students will be able to select a meal plan for fall and spring once room assignments are finalized before the start of the semester. Meal plans are selected each semester by residents via their Housing Self-Service page on UAOnline. Residents who do not select a meal plan will default to the Weekly Servings 14 plan at check-in.
