Texas A&M University-Kingsville is located in historic Kingsville home of the legendary King Ranch and is the oldest continuously operating public institution of higher learning in South Texas. Helpful Information
Due to high demand for engineering, pre-health, and Ag courses, it is best to apply and register ASAP for the Fall semester in those fields. It is very easy to live on campus and get to classes. From most residence halls, the rest of the university can be accessed within a 10 minute walk.

Location Information
The University is located in historic Kingsville, a city of 27,000 that is the home of the legendary 800K acre King Ranch which provides many opportunities for TAMUK students. Corpus Christi is just 40 miles northeast and Mexico 120 miles south or west. Beautiful beaches are 1 hour northeast on Padre Island in Corpus Christi and 2 hours southeast on South Padre Island near the mouth of the Rio Grande on the southeast tip of Texas.
