Location Information
Utah State University is located in Logan, Utah, 81 miles north of Salt Lake City. Logan is in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah, where students have access to incredible outdoor activities, arts opportunities, and easy driving to ski resorts and several national parks. The picturesque location in a fertile valley surrounded by mountains creates ideal opportunities for recreational activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking in Logan Canyon.

RESTRICTED/LIMITED PROGRAMS:
Enrollment in some courses in aviation, business, computer science, education, engineering, aerospace studies, interior design, and art may be limited. Engineering students should have at least a B-grade average (3.0 GPA), and may need to provide course descriptions in English of previous engineering coursework to demonstrate they meet engineering pre-requisites. Art students may be required to submit a portfolio, and music and theatre students may need to audition. Some colleges on campus charge "differential tuition," which is a surcharge attached to certain classes. USU will pay an allowance of up to 6 credits of any undergraduate differential tuition for regular exchanges.
