Location Information
Las Cruces is located in southern New Mexico, just 45 minutes from El Paso and approximately 3.5 hours from nearby cities such as Albuquerque and Tucson. The city has a population of 102,000, making it an ideal college town. New Mexico State University (NMSU) features an excellent faculty-to-student ratio of 1:19, a full teaching farm, a strong robotics program, and an outdoor swimming pool. With over 350+ days of sunshine each year, the area provides a perfect environment for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and mountain climbing.
