About This Campus
The East Falls Campus of Thomas Jefferson University is a small campus and private university that provides students with the best of both worlds: minutes away from the excitement and culture of Philly's Center City, but located in the park-like East Falls section of Philadelphia. Living in Philadelphia affords students the opportunity to explore the city's cultural and historical attractions (Philadelphia Museum of Art, Liberty Bell, etc.) attend sporting events (Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, 76ers) and enjoy the exciting social life of the city. Jefferson's East Falls Campus has a bustling social scene all its own and has easy access to nearby neighborhoods of Manayunk and Roxborough. Students have the opportunity to join more than 300 clubs and intramural sports teams or attend sporting events for 16 NCAA Division II teams. Academically, students have access to multiple laboratories, studios, and active learning hubs for hands-on collaborative experiences, the hallmark of our education.

The East Falls campus of Jefferson offers more than 60 areas of study, taught with a unique interdisciplinary approach called Nexus Learning. Jefferson specializes in professional majors and grants Bachelors of Science. Most courses in humanities and social sciences are limited to general education program, Hallmarks. Jefferson is committed to student guidance and success, with 18 students in an average class and student faculty ratio of 13:1.
Location Information
Jefferson is situated on a 100-acre, park-like campus in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. Nearby parks include Fairmount Park, Wissahickon Valley Park and historical Valley Forge National Park. Downtown Philadelphia is only 15 minutes away by bus, train or car. Once in Philly's Center City, it's an extremely walkable city. You can also take your bike on the trails alongside the Schuylkill River. Jefferson is also 2.5 hours from Washington D.C. and less than 2 hours from New York City.
