Helpful Information
The University of Guam (UOG) offers a welcoming, multicultural environment ideal for exchange students. Placement is generally accessible, and the process is smooth once required documents are submitted. Course availability is good overall, though some majors—such as Education and upper-division Business—may have limited seats, so early communication of course needs is recommended. Registration is typically straightforward after admissions and health clearances are completed.
Commuting on Guam is manageable, but public transportation is limited. Students living off campus should plan for reliable transportation such as a rental car, rideshare, or carpooling. Many exchange students choose on-campus housing for convenience.
Life at UOG is relaxed and community-centered, with diverse students, supportive faculty, and opportunities to enjoy beaches, island culture, and outdoor activities. UOG’s friendly and safe environment makes it a unique and rewarding exchange destination.
