About This Campus

Widener University is a small, private, comprehensive university located on a 110-acre campus, only 20 minutes from Philadelphia (the fifth largest city in the United States). Our history as a former military college has given Widener a strong foundation, and has created a lasting set of values that are reflected in the university's mission statement today. Widener is a dynamic, inclusive academic community, transforming students into scholars, leaders, and globally engaged citizens. Widener is located on a beautiful campus in a small city near Philadelphia. Only twenty minutes from Widener University, Philadelphia is the nation’s fifth largest city, and home to world-class art, culture, sports, entertainment, and history. Our unique environmental health and sustainability management bachelor's degree will empower you with comprehensive knowledge and skills to thrive in a multitude of industries.
Green Chemistry — As a green chemistry student at Widener, you'll gain foundational knowledge about chemistry and sustainability and emerge an innovative, critical thinker ready to tackle global environmental issues.
Robotics Engineering — Widener's bachelor's of science in robotics engineering degree will prepare you for a career on the cutting edge of technology in one of the most innovative regions in the U.S. The robotics field is on the cusp of influencing every aspect of the way we work and live and is expanding into almost every industry, including aerospace, automotive, defense, electronics, health care, homeland security, pharmaceutical, and transportation.
