Helpful Information

Flagstaff is a bike-friendly community. You can check out a bike on campus from the Yellow Bike Program http://nau.edu/Green-NAU/Yellow-Bike-Program/. The on-campus shuttle was expanded in 2012 that link students to off-campus locations (such as downtown). Mt Line provides bus transportation throughout Flagstaff.

Travel to Flagstaff may require traveling up from Phoenix as Flagstaff's airport has limited flights and airlines. Location Information

Situated near the base of the San Francisco Peaks at 7,000 feet, you will definitely feel the high altitude. Flagstaff and NAU are surrounded by over 800 cinder cones and the world's largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest. We are a hub for outdoor adventures with the Grand Canyon one and a half hours north, the red rocks of Sedona 45 minutes south, and the AZ Snowbowl 15 minutes from town. So come join us and laugh at sea level from our beautiful forest town!
