SNHU sits in Manchester, a mid-sized New England city known for its welcoming neighborhoods, vibrant food scene, and easy access to outdoor adventure. Downtown offers 70+ restaurants, cafés, live music venues, art galleries, and community events. Students can enjoy the SNHU Arena, the historic Palace Theatre, local sports, and tax-free shopping throughout New Hampshire.
Manchester is also a gateway to the region’s natural landmarks — hiking in the White Mountains, skiing and snowboarding in winter, lakes and rivers for kayaking, or beach days along the New Hampshire and Maine coastline. - Biomedical Sciences — Biomedical Sciences at SNHU prepares students for careers across healthcare and life sciences through hands-on, clinically focused coursework. Students build strong skills in anatomy, kinesiology, nutrition and pharmacology while gaining extensive experience in modern labs designed for wet-lab work and cell culture. The program supports students aiming for health-practice fields or future graduate study in biomedical research.
- Cybersecurity — Cybersecurity at SNHU prepares students to protect information, assess risk and respond to real-world cyber threats using industry-standard tools and techniques. Students learn how to secure networks, test for vulnerabilities and analyze malicious activity while developing strong communication and ethical decision-making skills. Cybersecurity is a validated program of study by the National Security Agency (NSA) and supports students aiming for careers in cyber defense, security analysis and digital forensics.
- Justice Studies — Justice Studies at SNHU takes a broad, interdisciplinary approach to understanding how legal systems, policy and community institutions work together. Students explore topics ranging from law and courts to corrections, social justice and public policy, all taught by faculty with real experience in the field. The program offers internships with local agencies, opportunities for undergraduate research and student-led community engagement.
