The University of Central Arkansas offers outstanding academics and a lively campus community. With more than 160 academic programs all taught by dedicated faculty members, UCA delivers in quantity and quality. UCA is located in Conway, Arkansas, a tight-knit community with a vibrant downtown that makes our campus a home away from home. UCA has a diverse student body of more than 10,000 students. UCA offers 90 undergraduate degrees and 64 graduate degrees and certificates. The campus includes a nature preserve and walking trails on more than 350 acres. UCA students represent all of Arkansas’ 75 counties, almost all 50 U.S. states, and more than 70 foreign countries.

Located in the heart of Arkansas and just a 30 minute drive from the state's capital, our campus provides the perfect balance of both natural beauty and city attractions! Conway is located in one of America's fastest growing areas. It has a vibrant downtown with shopping, dining, entertainment, and miles of biking and walking trails. The campus is also within a short drive of breathtaking rivers, lakes, and state parks.

NOTABLE ACADEMICS PROGRAMS:
  • BS in Cybersecurity — The multidisciplinary Bachelor of Science program in Cybersecurity is designed to produce graduates who can identify, assess, and manage cyber threats.
  • BS in Mathematics: Data Science Track — This track is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in data science and analysis.
  • Computer Information Systems & Analytics — Computer Information Systems & Analytics (CISA) uses both business and technical expertise to exploit data and systems for organizational competitive advantage. Many CISA students are involved in project management helping to develop system innovations or new systems.
  • Engineering Physics — This program has a focus on robotics and automation.
  • Philosophy — This program is uniquely pluralistic, including expertise in non-Western philosophies.
UNIQUE ACADEMICS PROGRAMS:
  • BA/MFA in Film — UCA has the only Film degree in Arkansas. The Film Program at UCA is one of approximately 50 programs in the country that offers both a B.A and M.F.A degree in film, and of only a handful in the south. Additionally, it is one of the only film programs in the nation to be housed at a mid-size state university, which makes it one of the most affordable film programs (if not the most affordable) in the country.
  • UCA College of Business — As technology and methods advance, the UCA College of Business maintains an innovative curriculum that is well suited for businesses today. A trusted partner in the business community, the College of Business has one of the most active internship programs in the state, which allows students the opportunity to gain work experience and network in their career field.
  • UCA Honors College — Established in 1982, the Norbert O. Schedler Honors College at UCA has become one of the most full-featured in the nation and is a leader in providing enhanced educational opportunities in a living/learning environment designed to develop citizen-scholars. The UCA Schedler Honors college is 1 of only 200 honors colleges in the United States. Its focus on interdisciplinary studies and community engagement uniquely prepares students to become active citizen scholars after graduation.
