CLOSED PROGRAMS:
Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science may have limited class availability due to capacity limits. Faculties that are closed for exchange students are: Nursing, Social Work, and any graduate level programs.
RESTRICTED/LIMITED PROGRAMS:
Restrictions for international students: Bachelor of Journalism, Bachelor of Medical Imaging, Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology. Some select courses in these programs are still available to students. Students should inquire with the UR Study Abroad office for more information upon acceptance into their program. Education courses that have components of a field placement are not available for exchange students.

Please note that the Tuition & Mandatory fees are for students participating on Away Tuition Payment (international visiting student, direct fee-paying), and reflect 15 credit hours (5 classes in one semester) University of Regina tuition rates within the Faculty of Arts as of Winter 2025. Tuition rates are subject to change according to the faculty that exchange students register in. Home Tuition Payment students pay their home institution tuition rates. Students must have Health Insurance Coverage from Home University prior to arrival. Health insurance costs will vary depending on each students' situation. The University of Regina Student Union Health coverage is a supplemental coverage, so students should purchase their own Health and Emergency insurance coverage. Students are also welcome to make use of Guard.Me insurance, which is an insurance partner of the University of Regina that offers international coverage from approximately 44-60 cents/day ($CAD).
