About This Campus
The possibilities are endless at Oakland University, where majors range from the traditional to the progressive. With an array of more than 142 bachelor's degrees, students in disciplines from accounting and art history to health sciences and engineering are pursuing their dreams at OU. Unlike larger state universities, less than 1% of OU's classes are taught by graduate students.
More than 2,000 students live on OU's beautiful campus and enjoy wireless internet, cable TV, lounges with big-screen TVs, free parking, and free laundry facilities. On-campus dining options include an all-you-can-eat dining halls and a mall-style food court.
The campus boasts more than 200 student organizations, including multicultural, religious, and political groups as well as fraternities and sororities and academic associations.

Helpful Information
Oakland University is in a largely suburban area with very limited public transportation. Students should consider a car while here in order to take advantage of all of the opportunities offered by the area. Campus parking is free.
Location Information
The suburban scene offers outdoor activities, the annual Art and Apples Festival, and countless restaurants & hangouts. Nearby in Clarkston, Pine Knob Music Theater hosts concerts.
