About This Campus

The University was founded under the Regional Colleges Administration in August 1971. In July of 1998, the College obtained its autonomy within the UPR System. It is well known locally and internationally for its technological, comprehensive, and multi-purpose academic programs. The campus offers bachelor degree programs in biology, business, computer science, electronic engineering technology, procurement and operations management, early childhood and elementary education, and adaptive physical education. Quiet and friendly, the campus provides an atmosphere conducive to learning. Our students enjoy a very personal attention from professors and staff. It is an easy walking campus. The language of instruction is Spanish, but our books are in English, except Spanish courses. Most of our students speak English fluently, so it is likely that you can speak English while you learn Spanish. There is a hospital and pharmacies within 5 to 10 minutes away by car.
