About This Campus

LSUA offers a wide array of degrees in numerous sought after fields. Students can choose from English, Biology, Religion and Communication Studies with a wide array of concentrations that will allow the student to be successful when applying to professional programs. Additional programs include Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems and Marketing. Other majors are Criminal Justice, Long Term Care Administration, General Studies, History, Mathematics, Religious Studies, and Chemistry. LSUA is also home to a vibrant theatre department that produces several productions throughout the year and participation is open to all students. Students can take advantage of our low professor to student ratio and work closely with faculty on their scholarly research. We have a Scholar Day every year for students to present.

Location Information

LSUA is located in the heart Louisiana. Thanks to its central location, LSUA is only a 3-hour drive to New Orleans – a much-loved tourist and historical site, and a 2-hour drive to the state capital of Baton Rouge. LSUA is also close to many plantation homes. Of special interest is the Epps House that is located on the LSUA campus. The city also hosts vibrant Mardi Gras festivities each year and the Carnival season is kicked off with LSUA’s own Mardi Gras parade.

Helpful Information

We welcome Plan A and Plan B. It is easy to secure a placement. Commuting from off campus is dependent upon finding an apartment to rent. On campus house can be arranged for the term only or for a full year.
