Arkansas Tech University (ATU) is a comprehensive public higher education institution that is committed to teaching and learning supported by scholarship and service. ATU is regionally accredited as an institution through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) with many individual programs accredited through appropriate professional organizations. Founded in 1909, Arkansas Tech University is rich in history and is now one of the fastest growing universities in the state.The campus is located on an attractive 559 acres in a rural setting. 16 residence halls are within easy walking distance to any of the classrooms. ATU offers over 120 graduate and undergraduate programs of study as well as over 15 certificate programs.
