Location Information

Middle Tennessee State University is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. MTSU is a research doctoral university that includes a 500-acre main campus, an agricultural campus, a horse science center, and an off campus aerospace facility. The city is the geographical center of the state included in the Nashville metropolitan area with a population of over 1.8 million people. Nashville is Tennessee's fastest growing major city and one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Notes About Meal Plans
Students that have not earned 30 credits are required to purchase either a 5 Day or 7 Day Unlimited meal plan if they choose to reside in on campus housing. University Housing assigns meal plans for first year students, but any classification on or off campus may purchase a separate meal plan through the Aramark Offices or by emailing mtdining@aramark.com. More information on the available plans can also be found on their website at https://mtsu.campusdish.com/MealPlans.
