About the Program
NSE students must be enrolled in their home campus honors program OR have a 3.6 GPA in order to take Honors classes.
UAF’s Honors College is a diverse and welcoming community of high-achieving students who are interested in pursuing a rigorous academic experience, in the context of a highly interdisciplinary and supportive learning environment. Our students come from all majors and backgrounds, and engage in a wide range of studies. Another important aspect of the Honors College experience is giving back — we believe in doing work that helps people and makes our communities stronger. You’ll find a variety of service learning and community engagement initiatives built into the Honors curriculum.
