About the Program

The Honors College incorporates a style of learning at WVU tailored to highly motivated students. Honors courses, designed to stimulate creativity and to provoke in-depth discussion, are offered in small enrollment classes. First-rate faculty teach the Honors classes. These same teachers and other faculty members serve as Honors advisors, guiding students through their individual academic programs.
