About the Program

Celebrating over 50 years of academic excellence, the Honors Program at Northern Arizona University enhances the creative problem solving abilities and communication skills of students through a rigorous program of study and an intellectually stimulating academic environment. The Honors experience is based on small, interactive classes and close collaboration between students and faculty in classes that often fall outside of, or cut across, traditional disciplinary boundaries.

Available Honors Courses

Each term, the scope and nature of Honors classes change. Please contact the Honors Program directly or access a copy of current Honors course descriptions at nau.edu/honors and click on “Perspective Student" and "Honors Courses.” There is $100 Honors fees per semester to be part of the Honors program.
