Requirements & Other Information
- This program is open to sophmores - juniors - seniors
- A GPA of 2.75 is required.
- The student must also know English.
- The Cultural Immersion Program is based on an Intercultural Communications course (1 credit hours) administered by SCSU, that has an experiential learning opportunity where the students enrolled in the course travel as a group internationally to complete their in country course modules. This trip traditionally takes place during spring break. At this time, the Cultural Immersion program is only offered during the spring semester, with the potential to be offered in the Fall in the future. Please NOTE*** The program destination changes annually. Additionally, the Cultural Immersion Program does have mandatory fees that are not covered under the NSE tuition waiver. Each student is responsible for the full program costs and required deposits. Traditionally the deposits range from 150-200USD; the total program costs ranges from 2900-4200USD. the program fee includes roundtrip airfare some meals lodging accommodations 24/7 on the ground support Some excursions Please contact the Study Abroad Office for more information regarding this program.
