Guest Student exchange is available to students who are enrolled at accredited colleges and universities in the United States and Canada which are not currently NSE members. Guest Students may choose a semester exchange from among 40 campuses in 25 states. Placement is guaranteed if you meet all eligibility requirements and campus deadlines. Student eligibility must be verified by the student's home campus.
The Guest Student Application fee ($500, nonrefundable) is paid directly to NSE at the time of application. The Guest Student Placement fee (nonrefundable) is due to NSE when placement is confirmed. Students pay resident tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board costs (if living on campus) directly to the host university. Figures below reflect an estimated TOTAL COST for the application fee, placement fee, tuition, and fees (room and board not included).
Students utilizing financial aid may need a consortium agreement with their home campus for aid disbursement. A student may be required to apply for a leave of absence while on exchange. Courses taken while on exchange will generally be applied at the home campus as transfer credit.
