During the semester, you will have the opportunity to work with UAS faculty and our local industry partners, learning about aquaculture enhancement in the classroom and in the field. You will learn about the history and policies of Alaskan aquaculture, skiff handling and small engine maintenance techniques, and everything in between.
Costs: Estimated costs: Tuition and fees: $3500, housing $2000, and meals and incidentals $3000. This does not include travel costs to and from Sitka.

Requirements: Mid-March is the deadline for priority consideration followed by open enrollment until filled - 12 participants maximum. An individual consultation with the Alaskan Aquaculture Semester faculty is the best way to determine if the program is right for you. To set this up, please review the website and then complete a brief Aquaculture Semester Interest Form to help us know a little more about you. - Direct: student may apply and go directly to the program site from the home campus if approved
- Competitive: not all eligible applicants will have the opportunity to participate
- Open: open to all eligible applicants who meet stated deadlines
